Braless Day by Doctor’s Order
July 16, 2014 by Deidra Alexander

I was in an accident yesterday and hurt my side. If I turn the wrong way, I feel like I can’t breath. When asked, the doctor suggested that I not wear a bra for a while, YEAH BABY!
How to sum up the first day post accident?
The codeine’s … … … … … …
That pretty much says it.

Sorry to read about your accident. Be well!
I’m a man, so obviously my input on the bra issue is suspect/worthless, but I did read an article suggesting that women are better off without them (causing problems in later life and such)…

I couldn’t agree more. They’re so last century. I thought they were all burnt in the sixties.

Thanks. Most of the pain’s in my back now. Codeine, how to sleep all day and night.

Oh no… not in that beautiful back of yours (I love that picture… :))! Sending positive vibes…

Thanks. I think the actual back is still intact.

Sorry about your accident. I hope your ribs aren’t broke. That makes it hard to breathe. Exhaling hurts the most. But, on the flip side. braless! Feel better!

Thanks, Mary. Nothing broken. Up side, I’m eating less since I don’t want to move much.

Yes, I played some sports a bit ago, and, man, did it hurt to breathe! I don’t why. Out of shape maybe, but I do pull-ups and stuff. Who knows. I know that doesn’t compare to what you have…but I sorta know what you mean!

A warm wrap with healing herbs like the Amazons used to use may help….. 😀

A lovely idea. You wouldn’t happen to know an Amazon, would you? On second thought, I’d probably be man handled.

Well, my family has its own sayings, most of which involve profanity. Let me know if you ever feel the need for a poignant, profane saying 🙂

My grandmother use to string together profanity into funny sentences. But then she also taught me dirty versions of songs. The bane of my mother’s existence.

I’m going to build off William’s post. Of course, get well soon. But, maybe more importantly, watch that codeine! All opiates are highly addictive, plus they can do a pretty good job at constipating you. In my book, if you can’t poop you can’t be happy and healthy. Take care, kid. — YUR

Perhaps a gentle massage would help. I was prescribed codeine after an operation six years ago. Best thing ever.

Hey David. I went to a massage therapist the other day. Hurt so much it gave me a headache. I try to do without the codeine. It makes me sleep night and day.

Healing! Hope! Happiness! Sooner, rather than later. Shucking off the bra can’t be a bad start on it, at least.

Sounds like a terrible affliction. I willing to offer a hand or two to ease the discomfort, medically of course. You really need to keep Newton’s Laws under control for the duration. I’m the person.
