When I was in Finland, someone gave me reindeer hoof art. I hung it on the door to confuse Blind Dog. Now she thinks there’s big game in the house.

I use to follow her around the house, clicking them. But, it spooked her.

ROFL! That’s sounds like something we’d do to our “old lady” dog. You know, you can buy antler “chews” for her and then she can think she caught the big game. Of course, if she’s blind because she’s as old as our dog, then she’ll have to gum it.

Blind dog has a little French poodle in her. She LOVES brie, not to hot on those raw hide things.

No! Really – they’re honest-to-goodness antlers! They’re really hard, but the big dog loves ’em and last WAY longer than the stupid raw hides that get all over my carpet. But if she’s picky – they’re probably a little hill-billy for her. 😉

hi Deidra,
I hope you are well.
We haven’t spoken in a bit and I think my “flash fiction ” skills are much better than the last story I sent you. When you get a moment check out this one.

We used to have wall hanging/tapestry that had bleached weathered cow ribs and back vertebrae for sculptural accents. Large dogs were constantly eyeing them.
