Um, I’m sure she could’ve gotten something to cover it up, couldn’t she? Instead of having a black square on her back. Decent tattoo artists can certainly do cover ups.
what a nice pretty bunch of flowers wouldnt work? sheesh! and now what? big black patch forever? jeez!! love stinks sometimes no doubt but she just made it worse!
My question: Why black out the entire frame? If you’re going to try to eliminate a reminder of the past, wouldn’t simply covering the face and words be enough? Is the memory so bad that you have to make it a giant black square? Second question: Why was it framed in the first place?
The writing in Russian ‘you’re my life’. Can’t think of anything more poetic. I would have it made into unicorn. My all lovely ex boyfriends are like unicorns 🙂 too good to be true
I think I would have had it removed, as it was practically a line drawing. Removing surely was less painful than full coverage. I hate tattoo’s, so I have a hard time seeing even beautiful art on peoples bodies.
I adore my tattoos, I’m not impressed by many other people’s though. I think of mine as adornment, more akin to jewelry and less like scratching something on myself with a sharpie.
Hey, some people like a tattoo to remember their zombie boyfriend. Oh zombie boyfriend. You died as you lived; trying to eat my brains.

The proportions are all wrong.
That has to be the worst ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ tribute tattoo ever.

I’ve never understood the lure of tats on a women’s body. How can you make it any more beautiful than it already is?

There had to be a better way to get that covered than with a big, black square. Wow…just wow.
