I know this is a cartoon because I’ve been there and it’s so crowded, you can’t raise an arm; let alone glimpse a trotting elephant. How are you Deidra? Dial-up hasn’t made it easy to browse my circle, whom I appreciate dearly. Thanks for the laugh! My birthday is November 18th! I am in need of light-heartedness and a very good time.
I don’t think you caught the news: one of our young cats died for no reason (natural cause). I’m traumatized by it and was astounded not to be inundated with condolences (at my blog, where I’ll see and cherish them). Hearing people understand “cat” = “son” & “daughter” to me, is very healing. Despite only living 4 years, I want people to know our sweet boy. A community is for lifting people up, so I’m reaching out to mine. I’m much better but had to try again because a cricket response hasn’t sat well with me. I’m explaining I WANT to hear from people and it’s a way to rekindle too. My post is here. Gratefully, Carolyn. http://cmriedel.wordpress.com/2014/09/02/loveyandthreesiblings/
I’ve learned that the unfairness of a young, unexplained death is traumatizing and hard to accept. I am thankful you understand better than I knew. The 21 year-old cat whose ascention to Heaven shook me 11 years ago, feels like a gift. Elderly passing is about getting through the ache of physical separation. It’s own kind of hard, as you said. 18! I’d love to see his picture.
I’ll groom you first, then you do me. Right? 😀
