Whenever my fellow writers and I visit other author organizations, invariably they have us each stand, give our names and our genre. My friends always go first. They’re all sweet and genteel and wouldn’t consider saying anything untoward.
“I write regency.”
“I write inspirational.”
“I write paranormal.”
And then they come to me. You should know this, but I’ll tell you just in case you haven’t realized, I can’t be normal or demure.
“I write …. Prehistoric Erotica. I have two titles out. Once You Go Rhino You Never Go Back to Dino and Is That a Brontosaur Bone Under Your Loin Cloth or Are You Just Glad to See Me?”
This always creates a disruptive moment when cell phones are whipped out to search for the aforementioned titles with no success. So when I saw these images by Rodrigo Lazzarini, I knew it was perfect for my someday project. The Bones of Yesterday Chronicles.
Great photos, they really serve to illustrate your points well. It just goes to show that fashion is in the eye of the beholder. Whilst I liked certain aspects on the design, some I would not wear.

LOL…I attended an authors thingy not to long ago. It was older women writing historical romance, romantic suspence, harlequin, etc…then me. I’m Tawny and I write Paranormal erotica…forget the rhino, I want wings and tail. Yeah, it was kind of awkward…

My critique group has four paranormal, one historic romance, one contemporary romance, and one inspirational suspense writers. The last one can’t keep the good/bad guys straight in the paranormals and one keeps asking aren’t vampire killed by silver bullets? In the end it’s the writing that counts.

Screen play writer, cool. Just woke up one day and all I had in my mind was Prairie Jones was a dreamwalker. She’s walked into the wrong person dream. He’s not happy, not human and looking for Prairie Jones. Funny how the mind works sometimes.

What about A Steggo Got Me Preggo?
There’s probably an underground demand for Jurassic porn. Have any of your readers admitted to stumbling across this post by googling “prehistoric erotica” or, more disconcertingly, “rhino and dino sex”?
