Madison Girot is the last descendant of the Goddess Innana. Her ancestors accidentally released an evil that only she can banish. Now she must find an ancient weapon that redeems men’s souls and use it to destroy the immortal she is falling in love with.
First Lines
I didn’t really like killing, but red was definitely my color.
Growing up, I wasn’t afraid of the monsters lurking in the dark, but I was afraid of monsters that attacked during the day.
I felt his eyes on me before I saw him.
Not every girl knew how to handle a firearm, but not every girl had lived through three assassination attempts.
I couldn’t imagine a life without fear and danger.
Origin of Guardians
Thousands of years ago the earth was overrun by lychanthropes, also known as werewolves. They were practically unstoppable. Humanity needed a new kind of warrior one who had the same strength as the lycans. Through a series of experimentation, the first guardians were created. These creatures were warriors who volunteered to sacrifice their souls to become immortal. Once made, a guardian has superior speed, strength and the ability to shift in and out of the shadows. While not invincible these immortals do not age or die.
They are destined to walk the earth for eternity defending humans against the were-clans. Ambrose, a character in Feral is the oldest guardian. He has seen much that eats at his soul and makes him long for rest, but he will not leave this world until the Feral are eradicated.

This writer has a knack for illuminating character traits that make you feel like you are actually there, in the scene. Please post more!
Thanks. I’ll try to live up to your expectations.
D
I look for real life wolves and guardians among us , life needs a final showdown between good and evil , it is something we can not avoid .Stories are sometimes motivating .
I couldn’t agree more. We need more good guys riding in to vanquish evil.
i think sometimes we get frustration to looking for good guys. But i think there is always hope, a little light of candle in the darkness.
I think if we stop looking and start living, we just stumble across them. Here’s to all the good guys waiting to be stumbled upon.
I like your writing style…continue and you will go far…
Thanks, I appreciate it.
Thanks, that’s so nice of you.
Hello there! Lovely snippets of stories. And thank you for liking my post!
Thank you, some of my ideas can get a little out there.
Hey Deidra! I love your site! It looks great. Your writing is very interesting. I look forward to reading more of your stuff. Good Luck with your writing.
Thank you so much. I appreciate the support.
Deidra… I like your stuff. We all intimately know and must live with “fear and danger.” That’s what makes all this B.S. interesting. About fiction writers: Whether we realize it, every single one of us act out and write our own fiction as we stumble through life heading for that last melodramatic exhale. You are a good writer.
Thank you so much and you are right we all live with fear not matter how small our dangers.
Refreshing writing style; reading something so ‘new’ after quite some time.
Thanks.
Nice post. I learn something on completely different blogs everyday. It’s going to always be stimulating to read content material from different writers and practice just a little something from their blog.
That’s how we learn. I learned great first lines from Richelle Mead’s books. i just google them and used google books to read a bunch of her first lines.
Great opening , you held my attention from start to finish . well done
I forgot to mention, thank you for the likes on my poetry
Your Welcome
Hi Deidre,
What a great intro! I admire fiction writers; all that imagination to put down on paper! Thanks so much for visiting my blog and “liking” my haiku “Moments in Time.” I look forward to reading your work, too!
Lauren
I think poetry is so much more challenging. Looking forward to my next visit.
I like it. You have a twisted mind. Best of luck. Hope you don’t mind but I will follow you. Looking forward to reading more.
Thanks for the follow and the twisted mind compliment.
Wow, intense! Keep up the good work!
Thanks. I appreciate you stopping by and taking the time to comment.
Thanks for reading my blog, but after reading your blog, I can’t for the life of me figure out what led you to read mine. Good luck with your writing; I like your “First Lines”.
I’m very visual and saw the red wagon. It drew me in. I read lots of different things and enjoyed your blog. Thanks.
Your blog certainly is an original….and I love the “favourite plot”!
Thanks for your visit to Cinderella Trippin’.
I have a few twisted fairy tales in my background. Thanks.
I see where you dropped by for a visit today, thanks.
DS
Your welcome. I enjoy your posts.
With “First Lines” and “Favorite Plot”, you hooked me in from the beginning. Love your blog. Thanks for liking mine today.
Thanks I learned first lines from reading the first lines of Richelle Mead’s books. She has great openers.
Good hooks!
Thanks I’m the one liner queen.
I can already tell that I’m going to be a faithful reader
Thanks for yet another addiction!
Well thank you. I like to think of myself as someone’s addiction.
Okay, where can I get the book? The writing style is fantastic, and the first lines are entirely NOT enough to satisfy.
Thanks, the first book is currently with an editor.
Very interesting. Yes, agelessness isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, and those lychanthropes take up all my free time. Still, things could be worse…thanks for reading my post. I’ll continue to do the same!
I’ve put your post on my list of blogs to visit. Yes, lychanthropes are but one creature to keep a look out for.
Hello there,
Thanks for liking my post. BTW, Can I ask how you reached my Blog ? I am pretty new to this and trying to feel my way around. Thanks in advance.
I used freshly pressed and it brings up blog that have had recent posts. I read through a few and yours caught my eye.
Fine 1st lines! Of the Strunk and White generation: I like straightforward prose.
Best wishes,
JBW
Thank you. Maybe I’ll reevaluate the college professor’s advice, “Give up on writing, get a degree you’re really going to use.”
Wow, Deidra, you definitely have a gift. Love your writing, look forward to more in the future. Thank you for reading my blog as well, much appreciated.
Thanks I’m hoping to do more with my writing.
Great opening lines. Made me want to keep reading.
Dauna Easley
First master the first line, then the universe!
Thanks for the like!
I’ll have to read more of your stories- like how you use your blog for your fiction- inspirational.
Thanks I wanted it to be a place to house my ideas and words. Glad you like it.
You’re writing is to die for pun intended! Thanks for stopping by my place.
I love your writing and your observations, hence I am now a follower of both!
Thanks. I’ll tell death not today.
Oh, what dangerous fun we shall be having here! You snagged me right away with your title-page tagline, boldly stating the inevitable downfall of all who enter here. Doom and disaster are so much more fun when fictional, so three [really grim] cheers to those like you willing and readily able to provide the means. I’ll be looming in the shadows here often, I can tell. Thanks for introducing yourself!
Kathryn
I like the idea of reaping imaginary disaster on all characters who cross my pencil’s path.
Please let me know when this book is released and if it is, where I can get it.
It’s with an editor now. Fingers crossed.
Ooh, I nabbed this for my Facebook status today:
“Growing up, I wasn’t afraid of the monsters lurking in the dark, but I was afraid of monsters that attacked during the day.” ~ Deidra Alexander
Luv ya dark lady.
I’ve been quoted. Thank you.
I can’t wait until the book. You have a great talent. My attention was captured with the first line. It left me wanting more. Thanks for the like on my blog too.
You are very welcome. Loved your Odds and Endz.
“I have people to kill, lives to ruin, plagues to bring, and worlds to destroy. I am not the Angel of Death. I’m a fiction writer.”
This tagline accurately depicts you.
Your words are fresh and your thoughts pure.
Keep writing, never stop.
Thanks you very much for the compliment.
I am beginning to suspect that you are a writer, and I’ll be interested in reading more of your work to see if my suspicions about you are true.
Thanks for liking my blog post today!
Thank you, I’m beginning to think I might be able to be a writer after all. I had a teacher discourage that ambition when I was in college and now I’m beginning to think she might have been wrong.
A teacher discouraged you? That just makes me angry! I really don’t think that anyone in that position should dampen a students spirits. Who are they to judge what the world needs and wants to enjoy? Obviously, that teacher was wrong. You are very talented!
I have found even in the blogging world when I have sought advice from a more seasoned blogger I have come across the same discouragement. I even had one guy tell me ‘maybe you don’t have what it takes’ and then self-promote himself and his video tutorials. Like I really would buy from him after he shattered my dreams.
Thanks for visiting my blog, and keep writing. You do have what it takes.
It is a shame. It makes me sick to think of all the time I wasted. I was supposed to be too dark and now dark is in.
If I picked up a book and read this for a first line, “I didn’t really like killing, but red was definitely my color.”… I wouldn’t put it down until it was finished!
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
Thank you. Your blog rocks.
Thank you for liking my post. Good blog and have a good day
Thank you and you too.
I love the quote at the top of your blog. It’s going into my journal. Thanks for dropping by my blog.
I think writers have to remember we’re here to wreck havoc on the worlds we create.
Hi Deidra, thanks for visiting my blog; glad you liked it.
I came over to yours not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. The opening lines pulled me in and I am not usually a fiction reader, good stuff.
Keep up the good work, I’ll follow your progress on WP!
Thank you. I appreciate your compliment.
I enjoyed reading your blog. Glad you liked mine.
Thank you. I need to get back around to yours.
Thanks for reading my blog and revealing your blogs as a new treat! Now if I can figure out how to subscribe, I will follow your stories.
There should be an RSS blank on the right side of the main page where you can submit your email and an update will be sent to you. Let me know if you have problems. Thanks.
GREAT! Can’t wait to read more!
Thank you!
A fascinating story, well written. Good luck with your endeavors and thanks for the visit
Thank you so much.

Thank you. I’ve written a novel on this one. I hope to get back to you after the holidays I’m just swamped right now.
It’s comforting to read that someone else has that creeping mouse syndrome!
Yes, it happens every so often.
Thanks for clicking “Like” on Global Mysteries. I love the lead line on your blog. It’s really an attention getter.
Thank you. I enjoyed Global Mysteries as well.
Thanks for liking my blog post, Deidra. Is that you in the sofa photo?
Michael Loyd Gray
I like to think I don’t have a face for television, a voice for radio, but I do have the back for blogging.
Great answer!
Some great writing! I really like it.
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoyed your work.
You have a very inventive imagination and a way with words. Thank you for liking my post http://windupmyskirt.wordpress.com/2011/12/06/fashion-to-die-for/
Thanks, love that tagline – Wind up my skirt.
Thanks for dropping by my site, Deidra.
I do like your writing style, very engaging.
Us creatives have to stick together through this ordered chaos!
Thanks, I don’t know about the ordered part, but I definitely hear ya on the chaos part.
I love that first line. And the story idea sounds so intriguing. I want to read this!
Thanks, it’s with an editor now so hopefully soon.
It sounds like a good comic book! But where are you from, what is your job? You really have a talent to write!
From Texas, author posing as an analyst.
Thank you for stoping by my blog!
I love this idea! I can’t wait to read more.
Thanks, hopefully the wait won’t be long.
‘Not every girl knew how to handle a firearm, but not every girl had lived through three assassination attempts.’ So, so, good!
Thank you. You’re the first to comment on that one.
Thanks for stopping by my blog ! You are so talented !!!!
Isabell, you are very welcome my dear. You are an 8 year old wonder. I envy your artistic talent, amazing.
Very engaging snippet. You know writing is good when you get sucked in against your will!!!
Your work is amazing. I’m a fantasy fan, and this is right up my ally.
Thanks for the follow. I’ll be keeping up with you and your great post as well.
Holding people against the will, I like the idea.
Thanks Deidra for patronizing my blog. Is the picture of the girl from the back yours? Lovely, and your bloodthirsty opening is tantalizing, though I don’t give monster fictions priority in my reading…Kind of have to tend to my readers for current issues that affect me…
I think people look at my picture, imaging a gentle romance author. Doesn’t really fit my blood thirst.
Some great writing here – I’ll definitely be back! Thanks for liking my blog
Thank you.
Thank-you for visiting!
Your welcome.
Thank-you for the follow. You story grabbed me. You write with confidence! Excellent!
Thank you, you’re very generous
Great writing. Keep up the good work. Thanks for visiting/liking my post.
Thanks. You too.
Although not typically my favorite genre you got me! My attention was grasped by the title, and held with your plot and charachter buidling.
Thanks so much btw for “liking’ my post “You Do Not Need a Bruise to be Abused” I am most grateful for your time.
Thanks and you’re very welcome.
And well, isn’t also the fear there of losing fear . . .?
Fear of losing fear, hadn’t thought of that one.
You are welcome, and thank you very much!
I luv this snip…im a huge lycan fan and so far im hooked on yoyr writing! Cant wait to read more!
Love lycans too!
Thank you Deidra, for visiting my blog and “liking” it! I can’t wait to read all your posts!
Your writing is inspiring.
Hi Deidra,
I love your blog! It’s so fun and interesting and I can’t wait to read more of your work – keep it up!
Many thanks for visiting my blog
I love poetry and those who have your talent with words.
Hi Deidra, I love your writing style. I like your ability to use two contrasting ideas within a sentence (ex. Growing up, I wasn’t afraid of the monsters lurking in the DARK, but I was afraid of monsters that attacked during the DAY). Ive always appreciated a bit of irony in a story as well. Im a bit of a “twisty-turny” plot kind of person. Thanks for the “like” on my Mansfield Reformatory article. It’s always nice to be appreciated.
Thanks, I’m planning on stopping by again.
Hi Deidra – Love that line: ‘I didn’t really like killing, but red was definitely my color.’ Have you any novels under your belt?? Thanks for stopping by my blog and liking some of my stuff. It makes it all the more worth while.
Really just getting into the writing thing. I have a novel with an editor and that’s it. I’m writing some shorter stuff that I love and will offer it indie.
You have the most amazing header!
Thanks, it changes with each post.
Deidra, thanks for stopping by and reading my blog.
I love your vivid imagination! Immortality is something that people have craved since time began, but the realities are very different. I look forward to following your blog!
I’ve heard science is catching up with human desire.
Thank you, Deidre for visiting my FabulousBeautyBlog and liking it. I see you have quite an imagination. Do you write any inspirational stories as well?
Just wondering, but for a reason.
Only inspirational if you undead. I afraid there’s little inspiration for the living.
Well, I’m into writing inspirational tales and have just started an authors contest. And yes, there really are inspirational stories for the living! Take a peak at:
http://www.tales2inspire.com
I will thanks.
Hi Deidra,
Interesting !!!! with your looks & writings u can kill anyone !!!!!
Hey, thanks. I might give that a try some day.
I’m glad you enjoyed the Blog on Walkiing Moxie – another one’s in the making. The dog’s a better writer than I am.
After reading your comment, naturally I read some of your Blogs. You’re funny, zany and a darn good writer. Love the use of anti-climax. I’ll have to drop by regularly.
Thanks. And I think you dog must be a great writer if he’s better than you.
Hi Deidra, love your writing. Thanks for reading my blog and Like it.
Thanks, I enjoyed yours too.
Deidra,
Thank you for the like, i’m new to blogging.
Your writing makes compelling reading, you have something there, it will be interesting to follow……….
I only wrote one short piece a year back, unpublished…….
be interested to have your opinion, so I’ll post soon,
Gordon.
Looking forward to your next post. Glad I got in early.
I’m a sucker for fantasy fiction so it’s great to discover your site through your visit to mine. Thank you for ‘liking’ my Face series at art rat cafe.
Your welcome, looking forward to more.
Thank you for following and I look forward to more perusing of your works! Very good reading!
Thank you, enjoy.
please excuse me for saying so, but you do have a literary gift there, we used to call it ‘the gift of the gab’
so please persue your dreams and go girl !!!
Thank you and you don’t need excuse. I welcome the encouragement.
Bring it on! I’m fascinated by your posts.
I’ve written a novel length version of this that is with an editor at the moment. I’ll have feedback by January.
i like. couldnt find the like button so writing it instead
I can’t figure out how to add a like button. If you’re logged onto word press, there is a like at the top of the page on the grey bar. On other blogs I sometimes have to select comments and then I can see the people who liked and like it too.
Howdy Deidra –
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I’m glad you did, it looks like I’m going to enjoy yours also………
Thank you. You know my motto? Loves me a cowboy.
I just skimmed, here and there, your blog and I like it! Funny thing: I have a painting called The Angel of Death Has Snake Eyes (you can see it on my blog, a post or two ago…) But of course you are Not the angel of Death…
Anyway, there are a lot of reciprocal points of interest… You are of Irish descent, are you? (Deidra?) I have the name of a celtic deity, DAnu, which in my native tongue means YES-No (Yang-Yin…)…and the lycanthrops (and vampires!) are known since the beginning of time in my native region, Transylvania… Lycantrops, man transformed by the moon in wolfs, are called varcolaci…and so on…
I knew there was a reason I liked you, kindred spirits. I’m part Irish and part Cherokee, not an uncommon mix
You write in my favorite genre. Looking forward to more from you.
Awesome. Hopefully I can write something you enjoy.
Thanks for the like on my blog post! Good luck to you. ^_^
Your welcome, thanks.
You have a lot of fans. Keep up the good work.
Thanks to be honest the vast majority caught up with me between Thanksgiving and now.
Oooooooo! Just sounds like my cup of tea! Thanks for visiting my blog and allowing me to discover a new author.
Christine
This is with an editor so maybe you’ll get to read it soon.
I’m a writer too! I wrote a terrible novel that was over 1,000 pages. The rewrite got it down to 500 or so. Then I wrote a second novel that was just like the first. They are impossible to read, they are that bad. I am starting a brand new novel with a different premise, so I hope it is better. I’m afraid that my work, to quote Truman Capote is “typing, not writing.” Sounds as though you’ve created an interesting world to people with characters. Good luck!
Keep working at it. I’m still learning, but people taking art lessons and practice for years. I think it’s the same with writing you develop style and voice and all the great things but practice and study.
Amazing blog and great stories. You are so talented!!!
Thanks, I’ll let the Pistol know.
Your writing is very encouraging for a newbie. Thank you for liking my post!
Thank you, though I’m relatively new. I haven’t published yet that’s the biggie for this year.
Just my kind of reading. Looking forward to more!
Thanks for stopping by Hedge Wicket!
I’m looking forward to reading more on your blog. Your blog is so beautiful. Love it.
So creative. Glad I stopped by.
Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed.
Deidra, thanks for stopping at my blog. I tried to lighten up a bit around Christmas. Usually I write about Washington DC politics — and that is anything but funny or light.
Your writing is great. I’ll be stopping by from time to time.
Ron
Thanks. Yeah someone needs to keep track of what’s going on in Washington DC. Good luck with that.
I love the excerpts! Please write more!
Also, thank you for liking my post =)
Thank you. I’ve written a novel around this one that’s with a publisher, so keep your fingers crossed.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog. You are clearly a very talented writer…….vampires and wolves right up my teenage daughter’s alley. I’ll enjoy following your blog with her. Great for mother & teen daughter bonding! Not always easy. Thanks, Linda
I hadn’t thought of that. Thanks.
Wonderful work! My boyfriend and I read your blog together now! Great job!
Thank you. Great to hear from you. I’m impressed a guy reads my stuff.
some awesome opening lines – can’t wait to read more!
Thanks. I’ve been working on Blood Guardian (novel) and hope to have it ready next year.
I love how you use juxtapositions. Like when you wrote “Growing up, I wasn’t afraid of the monsters lurking in the dark, but I was afraid of monsters that attacked during the day”, it’s intriguing and compelling. I have been trying to use that for years. Your storytelling sure is compelling.
And thank you for liking my post
Thank you. Always looking for the twist.
I love reading your posts they are very intriging. Please write more
Thanks
Thank you so much. I intend to expand on this blog with more frequent and longer pieces next year.
Very interesting sounds like there is a trilogy in there or even more??
Yes, I have at least seven planned. The first is with an editor. I’m planning to release it indie some time second quarter.
Then I wish you every success because it is full of things that part of me would love to be true.
Good stuff! funny stuff! Intense, scary stuff, interestingly written! Greetings from Baltimore!
Glad you like it. I have plans for at least seven books. The first is with an editor and I should get the rewrites back in January. I’m sure I’ll keep plenty busy first quarter getting it in shape for publishing.
I love the line: “I didn’t really like killing, but red was definitely my color.”
This story sounds fascinating, I would love to read it.
That line came to me during a boring meeting.
You write well. Can translate to both the literary and the visual media.
Thanks maybe I can conquer both!
You’re a good writer. Thank you for sharing your works online.
Blessings,
Rick
Thank you so much. Merry Christmas
Diedra – I was so happy that you ‘liked’ my blog……feedback is normally non-existent! Then, reading yours I discover a very unusual mind at work….I am going to come back and visit many times…..
Now that you’ve discovered what a freakish mind liked your post, I hope you’re still taking it as a compliment.
Awesome style, Deidra. I just subscribed for email notifications.
Thanks. Blood Guardians, the novel should be out next year.
wow, I just read the first few lines, and you had me hooked!
Thanks I’m hoping to release a novel of this later in 2012.
Very creative and interesting writing. Thanks for liking my blog post. Merry Christmas!
Wow, it’s so intriguing! I love the first lines, it definitely caught my attention. Can’t wait to hear more about it. Thanks for “liking” my first post; I didn’t think anyone was going to read it, let alone liking it, so thank you ^^
You are very welcome. Thanks for stopping by.
Hey you! I am nominating you for “The Versatile Blogger Award.” Check out my page for details! <3
Thanks, I won’t be able to get to this until after the new year. My apologies ahead of time.
Hi Deidra—Thanks for liking my blog post, “Republican Fudge Even a Democrat Could Love!” I’m glad to have discovered your fascinating site. Best wishes for the New Year! —Marci
Loved your post, the bit of humor is right up my alley.
Some great opening lines there. I’m hooked on stories that I’m not sure are even written. If so, where?
You are correct in that guess, but I’m planning to fix that next year. Yeah 2012!!
Thanks for checking out the little fish in your big pond!
No, thank you for checking me out.
Thanks for liking my post. Getting into yours now.
Exciting writing you have here Deidra. And thanks for stopping by Wild Heart. Will definitely explore your archives for more interesting reading.
Hey, I love those freaky doll heads!
Great style
Thanks. Love your photographs. That graffiti art is awesome and the surfers, great.
The writing is so amazing, keep posting more I can’t get enough of it, you will go far !
Thank you, will do. I have big plans for writing in 2012.
I will be 70 in May and really feel for Feral. It must be tough being over a thousand years old. Dianne
Imagine the changes in the world in a thousand years. I’m always fascinated with that thought.
Deidra, I love your quote at the top of the blot:”I have people to kill, lives to ruin, plagues to bring, and worlds to destroy. I am not the Angel of Death. I’m a fiction writer.”
I look forward to reading more of your entertaining blogs.
Thanks. That just popped into my head one day and had to write it down.
[...] from Deidra Alexander’s blog that Writer’s Digest is running a Best Websites [...]
Wonder where that idea came from?
So is Blood Guardian written, edited and ready for sale?
I’m in the last of the editing and expect it to be ready sometime in the next month or so. Thanks.
Thank you for liking my post! It’s nice to see that someone with a different style is making the effort to read my stuff. And I really like what you have posted so far.
http://www.dpeacepublishing.com
I am a great lover of the written word in all genres. Good luck and I’ll be peaking in on you every now and then.
“I didn’t really like killing, but red was definitely my color”
One the best first lines I’ve seen in a long while … how can you NOT keep reading when that’s the opening life? Great stuff! BTW, thanks for liking my post (Mountains of Memories) … appreciate you visiting my site.
It was my pleasure. And thanks for the first line love.
Love this line: “I didn’t really like killing, but red was definitely my color.” and the next sentence isn’t too shabby either. So interesting!
i like your writing style i will be coming back
Thank you. I appreciate your generous comment.
I don’t like killing, but red was definitely my favorite color. How the hell does anyone top that line. I bow to you
Thank you. Glad you like it.
Just by glancing at your work I can say a couple of things with absolute certainty.
1- You have a well thought out imagination and that’s terrific. I don’t know how you write and if there is note taking going on describing all of your characters in advance, or if you just wing it. It has touches of both. Whatever method you do choose shines on through as mysterious in and of its self. I love when writers leave me curious to even the simplest questions of “how do you write”? it’s a sign of a passionate thinker with the ability to transfer thought to page. Often easier than most
2- as a person you are kind. My guess is that you liked something I wrote so I would notice your works and in turn your stuff becomes more popular. When you do that with a lot of wanna be writers it makes your stuff much more popular. That’s ok and I see no harm in that what so ever. Your kindness shows clearly when you take the time to reply to those that have left you comments. That shows you care about more than just the writing. You care to know how others see it. And you seem to feel some sort of kin ship with the others. Once again, that’s cool and my guess is it’s rare
Whatever is the reasoning that makes you a writer on your level, I say Cheers! success earned is an idea succeeded.
I’m greatly impressed and I’m sure you’ll enjoy your worthy great success,
Good Luck and Keep on Writing,
Peace!
Thank you so much. As one sarcastic idiot to another, I loved the header picture. I’m not a big one for politics. I’m pretty neutral. I’m an equal opportunity hater.
Wow. Definitely going to read more. I just subscribed and I’m looking forward to finding more of your beautiful writing in my inbox.
Thank you. I’m honored.
And so am I now… Wow, thank you for subscribing too!
You are most welcome. It is my honor to add you to my list of lovely places to cruise.
If there was one lesson above all others that my brother taught me when we were kids, it’s this:
I’m not prejudice. I hate everybody… Guess I figured that into my political views, as well as people somehow..Ha!
I was really excited to see your like on my blog page. I too am an aspiring writer, and I have in the works a paranormal romance. Right now my focus publicly is to carry a message of love and enlightenment through my blog. I have learned some valuable lessons throughout my life, and still learning.
I read some of your writings on here, and you are so very talented with your words! I love the stories that you have weaved through your pen. I will be back for more! Best wishes to you! Love and Light, Celeste.
And a warm thank you for the like!
Thanks Celeste. You have already started acheiving your goal. Thanks for the love. Looking forward to another visit.
I love the saying in your header, and the picture. I love your blog. Thanks for stopping by mine.
I change the heading picture every time I make a new post. Check back for the next one.

We love your writing style! Thanks for taking the time to check out our blog!

Thanks for the “like” on my blog……:)
You’re welcome
Thanks for liking my post. I too like your writing style! Enjoy the day!
I love your photos, you’re awesome. Thanks.
Thanks for the “like.” I ‘ll read some of your stories. How do you ever get so many followers?
I blogged for quite a while without a follower. One day I stopped blogging for other people and started for myself and then the followers came.
Thanks for your “Like” on my review, Deidra. Boy, do you get a lot of traffic and a looooooooooooooooooot of comments. How did you get there?
Alle
I played around for a while until I found something that worked for me. Maybe I should teach a class. lol
I was thinking the same thing – I’d love to know how to achieve so much
Writing of any kind–even a blog–can be fun or excruciating–luckily after having published many magazine articles, 6 books (fiction and non), done many arts and/or dining reviews for different kinds of media and having one play produced (someday I’ll have to write about that experience0 and I admire anyone who writes and keeps at it despite many rejections–most writers worth their salt have a wall (or screen saver) of rejection slips but a good one doesn’t give up!! Keep going!
Thank you so much for the encouragement. With all of your credits, it is even more amazing.
Very interesting stuff. I like your writing! Well done.
Thanks I appreciate the comments.
You only saved me atleast 1 hour of time. I am making a project in this particular topic and your write has helped me through one of the topics of my project. I will browse to the other pages now.
Wow, you sure have interesting classes. I never got assigned a werewolf, vampirish paper.
I have alot of fun doing Zumba for workouts.
So does Ambrose!
I appreciate your ‘liking’ my movie review.
Don’t feel bad if I don’t read most of your writing–I am into blog reading BUT as a published author, playwright, article writer, movie, restaurant and theatre writer I have a ‘thing’ about reading on the Internet–I need/have to hold ‘it’ in my hand whether book, magazine, newspaper (yeah, those old things) in order to feel it. :O)
I will seldom ever read a blog more than 500 words–though I have been known to comment over 500 words!!! LOL
OK, you crack me up with your 500 word comment, comment. I love the feel of paper in hand too.
Thanks for your likes
You’re welcome. I’m always up for a laugh.
Thanks for taking a look at my blog. I’m glad you liked the painting. I’ve also written a novel: Back Dated which you might like to take a look at when you have the time. You can read the first three chapters for free on my Amazon page! Like your site by the way.
regards
Chris
Hey novel’s cool. I hope to get a chance to take a look at it soon. That rocks. Thanks for the recommendation.
Thank u for visiting my blog and like it, u are the first one, ofciurse i dont have many followers and just started to take the whole wordpressblogthing more serious, if i read what u write down inhere i am more then happy to see u are a guardian too, not the one maybe in ur blog, but one in an own world, using it to make things clear, maybe u did not mean it that way, but betweem what u write and make me think of a whole new world exists, mankind is not enough near earth or nature anymore for the most part, u bring it to them, am i wrong to even see u show how bad and good are eachothers rivals, but now adays, the line between them is to thin and ppl are not able to se the differences in many ways, or actually they have a own world (and rules ) and another which they see as not theirs and for that they have entirely other rules……… which makes it all complicated and not trustwordy, honest and truth are also not of this time anymore, how many ppl will be able to know they did not lie for one day, mostly to themselves, so thank u for this blog its great!!!
Thanks for the stop by-image words and images communicate. You do well, keep up the work.
Thanks you too.
Your writing is very vivid, very good! I want to hear the rest of the story…
Just in case you didn’t know, you certainly have a way with words ;] Keep up the good work. Angie
Thank you so very much. I’ve always been afraid of writing, but wanted to be a writer.
Looks very good to me. Thanks for the follow.
Deidra!
First of all, thanks for the follow. Second, your writing is exquisite! Amazing dear! Keep it going. It’s always so nice to run across someone else who has a passion (and similar writing style) as mine. Love, love, love it!
Keep in touch.
Happy Storytelling,
VSK
Thank you, that means alot.
Hi, Thanks for the ‘like’. Enjoy reading your stories too:)
thank you and your welcome
Hi Deidre….thanks for “liking” one of my posts. I enjoyed reading your “Zany Observations”…..funny how you can learn a lot about someone from few words. Then again if you’re saying a LOT in those few words it really can be quite telling! I wish you lots of luck with your writing – it’s very creative and quite stylish.
Pam
Yikes I may be telling too much!
Thanks for checking out and liking my artwork, I enjoy you’re writing!
Thank you & you’re welcome.
Hey Deidra, I really like your writing samples. Left me wanting more. I’ll definitely be bookmarking your site and returning often.
Thank you. I’m working on some longer pieces. Hope to have those out soon.

I should be getting comments back from my editor soon. So try not to forget me.
Thank you for liking my post! And I love the first line!
Thank you for passing by my blog! You have some great material here, I need to start reading asap
This is awesome. I think you should make a book about this.
I’ve written a novel based on these characters and this world. It’s with an editor. Thanks.
wow you get so many comments! woohooo
Do your stories continue on into short/long stories? I can see from your posts that you have submitted work – that’s awesome. I plan to do that next year – in the meantime I’ve published my first short story in ebook form at Smashwords.com
